In 2019, I found myself stuck in a lousy relationship, merely working for the weekends in a small town. One day, I woke up and decided I had enough. Packed my bags and headed to Jacksonville, Florida, for a commercial diving school. This school was intense, starting with early morning workouts at 5 a.m. Being out of shape, the first day's swimming drills hit me hard. That was my wake-up call—I needed a change.
This is the first weightloss photo I took. So, I kicked it up a notch. Hit the gym daily, cleaned up my diet, and added a two-mile run before each workout. The four-month program was tough, but I went from 230 lbs to 165 lbs.
I started seeing a lot of progress. Little did I know, that decision changed everything. After graduation, I landed a job inspecting nuclear plants, diving underneath reactors. Even after long shifts, I stuck to my fitness routine.
During my travels for work, I met an amazing woman on a plane ride back home for Christmas and we hit it off. Fast forward three years, after our adventures and getting to know each other, we tied the knot. After these three years of traveling and experiencing life, I found myself at 155 lbs, realizing I had gotten too skinny. That's when I decided to put weight back on, but this time, it would be lean muscle. I went from 155 to a solid 190 lbs.
I then had a major transformation, 155 lbs to 190 lbs. During this time, I discovered a love for cooking meals that are good for you and taste amazing. I'd cook for my wife, and she'd always love it. It made me realize how much I enjoy helping people. So, I decided to start Hunt4Shredz. My goal is to show everyone that cooking healthy and tasty meals at home can be simple and enjoyable. It's all about living a happy, healthy life, and I want to be a part of your journey. Let's tackle meal prep together, because the key to eating well is just being ready. Say goodbye to last-minute takeout decisions!
